REFUND POLICY

The Allen Sports Association will issue a refund minus a $30 administrative fee any time PRIOR to the close of REGULAR registration for any program. Once REGULAR registration has ended no refund request will be accepted. To receive a refund prior to the close of REGULAR registration we must receive a refund request form prior to the close of REGULAR registration.  All information on the form must be complete to ensure a proper refund. Refund request forms can be faxed, mailed or dropped off at the ASA office.

Allen Sports Association basketball leagues are grade based and age requirements for each league are based on the Allen Independent School District school registration guidelines. 

 ELIGIBILITY:

 Players:         

1.      Boys and girls, grades 1 through 12, are eligible to play in the Basketball program.  All leagues are formed by grade.  Participants must be in the appropriate grade and not older then the following:   

Grade 1 and child must be 6 years old prior to 9/1 of current school year

Grade 2 and child must have been born in 2003 or after

Grade 3 and child must have been born in 2002 or after

Grade 4 and child must have been born in 2001or after

Grade 5 and child must have been born in 2000 or after

Grade 6 and child must have been born in 1999 or after

Grade 7 and player must have been born in 1998 or after

Grade 8 and player must have been born in 1997 or after

 

For the High School league, a player must still be attending High School (cannot have already graduated) and cannot be older than 19 years of age by 9/1 of current school year.

2.      Participants that exceed the age requirements may be moved to a league one grade higher.

3.      A player may play on only one ASA basketball team per season.

4.      Players may play in their grade or one grade higher. (EXCLUDES Kindergarten)

 

UNIFORMS:

Winter: Jerseys are included.

Spring: Jerseys are NOT included for Spring Season. ASA will sell any left over Winter Jerseys

* Season dates are tentative and subject to change. Weather, facility availability and other events could alter the season dates. 

 

 

 

 

ALL players must register individually by the registration deadline. There are NO team registrations. Players from pre-formed teams will be placed on their team roster after they have registered individually by the roster the coach submits.
