So You Wanna Coach?
If you plan on coaching for ASA Football during the Spring Flag or Fall Tackle program you need to check out this page for important information.
All head football coaches must be approved by the ASA Football board before registration and team formation is completed.
To get approved to coach you must contact the division director for the division/grade you intend to coach in. Division director contact information is available by clicking on the "Football Board Contacts" link to the right of the page.
Once you've been approved to coach you must follow the steps required to become an ASA certified coach. This information is available at the "Coach's Corner" link to the left of the page. All coaches must be registered and certified before they will be assigned to their team roster. Coach's must register during player registration.
Coaches must attend the mandatory Coach's Meeting. Please check the calendar for the time, date and location of this meeting.
Coaches must also submit a team roster by the deadline set by the league. For Fall 2010 Returning Team Football Rosters must be submitted no later than May 7, 2010. All new teams must submit their team roster no later than May 21, 2010. Rosters are available to the right and also at the "Forms" link to the left. Rosters can be faxed to (972) 727-9760 or sent via email to Jennifer Hasko at jennifer.hasko@allensports.org.
