FALL 2010 FOOTBALL

All registrations must be completed online or in person at the ASA office if paying by check or money order.

All registrations are subject to a $30 non-refundable administrative fee.

Absolutely NO refunds are given once registration has closed.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
 
D3-D6 Returning Player Registration: This registration period (May 1-May 15) is ONLY for players who played on a Fall 2009 team and are choosing to return to that same team for the Fall 2010 season.
 
Regular Registration (Just Extended!): This registration period (May 17-June 11) is for all Eagle Division, Division 1, Division 2 and any new or redrafting players in Division 3 through Division 6. This includes any new teams who have been approved to play in the Allen Football League. (New teams to Allen Football must get approval by contacting Commissioner Blake Beidleman at allenfootball@sbcglobal.net)
 
Coach Registration: All coaches must register online for the Fall 2010 football season. Coach registration is through a seperate link from the player registration link. All Head Coaches must be registered by June 1 and all assistants must be registered by August 14. The MANDATORY coach's meeting is scheduled for July 24.
 
 New for Fall 2010! - All registration payments must be made at the time of registration online. You can no longer register online and select to pay in person at a later date. If you prefer to pay in person with a check or money order you will need to fill out a registration form (under "forms" button in blue to the left of the page)and bring it or mail it to the ASA office prior to the registration deadline. All registration payments are due by close of business on the last day of regular/open registration. The ASA office only accepts checks, money orders or credit cards (Visa/Mastercard Only) for registration payments. No cash will be accepted! 
 
TEAM FORMATION:
 
Please go to the "rules" link to the left of the page and then click on "football". All team formation information is included in the Fall 2010 League Policies.

PLAYING UP:
 
All players must register in their grade appropriate division. If you would like your child to play up one division you must get pre-approval from your division director. Once approved to play up, you must still register in your grade appropriate division and the league will move the player up to the requested division during team formation.
 
PLAYERS CANNOT PLAY UP IN TO THE EAGLE DIVISION! EAGLE DIVISION PLAYERS MUST BE 4 YEARS OLD BY MAY 1, 2010 TO PLAY IN THE FALL 2010 SEASON. No Exceptions!
 
 
EQUIPMENT:
 
Players are responsible for their own equipment and uniforms. A list of required equipment is available at the "Uniforms and Equipment" link to the right of the page.
Uniforms and Equipment are NOT included in the registration fee. Flags are also not included with registration.
Please contact your child's head coach in regards to questions about uniforms and equipment.
New this year! All Division 1 Flag players will be required to wear league approved head gear for the Fall 2010 season.
 
 
AWARDS:
 
Eagle Division: All players will receive a participation trophy and a league participation t-shirt.
D1: All players will receive a participation trophy, EXCEPT players on teams advancing to the Superbowl. All players will also receive a participation t-shirt. Superbowl teams will receive Superbowl trophies.
D2-D6: All players will receive a participation trophy, EXCEPT players on teams advancing to the Superbowl. All players will also receive a participation t-shirt. Superbowl teams will receive Superbowl trophies.
 
 
 
GAMES:
 
ASA Football makes every effort to schedule all games on Saturdays for the Fall 2010 season. However, after registration closes some adjustment may need to be made to the game schedule requiring some games to be played on weeknights (Mondays). Also, weather reschedules may also be played on weeknights during the season. 
 
We will NOT play games over Labor Day weekend. However, games WILL be played over Fall Break Weekend (Oct. 9)
 
Eagle Division: The Eagle Division will play 8 regular season games only. There will be no play-off games or Superbowl games for the Eagle Division. No standings or scores will be kept for the Eagle Division.
 
Division 1: Division 1 will play 8 regular season games. There will be play-offs and a D1 Superbowl game during the post-season.
 
Division 2 through 6:  D2-D6 will play 8 regular season games. There will be play-offs and Superbowl games for these divisions during the post-season.
 
Games are played at the Jupiter Park Football fields, Ford Park Football fields, Lovejoy High School Stadium, Allen High School Band Field and/or Allen High School Eagle Stadium.
