Here is what we have in store:

·        Bring Your Own Team

·        Team Registration

·        No draft

·        Grade-Based Leagues

·        NCAA rules with ASA exceptions (clock and ball carrier weights)

·        Certified Game Officials

·        Games played at local high school stadiums

·        No need to drive all over the metroplex

·        Players looking for a team can sign up to a waiting list to be evaluated for an open roster spot on a team.

  Spring Select Tackle Football is a team registration only. 

There are no individual registrations for Spring Select Tackle.

TEAM FORMATION:

Spring Select Football is a "Bring Your Own Team" program. Players can play on any team they are to play on as long as they play in their current age/grade division.

This is SELECT football and there is no guaranteed playing time. All positions and playing time are determined by the team's Head Coach.

Players who are looking for a team may request to be placed on the wait list and will be invited to a tryout that is held by the league. In order to be considered for the tryout, parents must submit the player's name and parent contact information to the ASA Football Commissioner Blake Beidleman at warriorfootball1@gmail.com. Tryout players will be contacted with details about the league tryout. This will depend on the number of teams needing players and a tryout is not guaranteed.

PLAYER PLACEMENT:

All players must be registered in their grade appropriate division. At times players will make the age requirement but be in a lower or higher grade level. In these circumstances the placement of the player will be determined by the football board. If you would like your child to play up one division you MUST get pre-approval from the division director.

EQUIPMENT:

Players are responsible for their own equipment and uniforms. A list of required equipment is available at the "Uniforms and Equipment" link to the right of the page. Uniforms and equipment are NOT included in the team registration fee. Please contact your child's head coach inregards to questions about uniforms and equipment.
