Officiating
ASA Inline Hockey Officials
 
Inline hockey officials interested in officiating (referees & scorekeepers) during our upcoming ASA hockey season should contact ASA Inline Hockey Commissioner James Chathamt at rollerhockey@allensports.org.  No previous experience is necessary, but hockey knowledge and a desire to learn how to officiate is recommended.  Tuesday evening and/or Saturday morning availability is strongly recommended.
 
All officials (referees & scorekeepers) will need to be familiar with USA Inline Hockey rules and ASA Inline hockey house rules. (http://www.usahockey.com/inline/main_site/main/rules/inline_officialrules/) (http://www.allensports.org/rollerhockey/rules.html)
 
If you are interested in officiating with ASA Hockey or have any questions, please contact the asa office or email James Chatham at rollerhockey@allensports.org.  Both scorekeepers and officials are paid positions ($6/game for scorekeepers, sliding scale for referees), so you can make a bit of cash while you enjoy participating in our youth hockey games.
