ASA Track was founded in 2002 on the belief that training all athletes regardless of ability at an elite level with a focus on state qualifying times and goals; would benefit the city of Allen and Fairview communities. Our program is built on a family concept that brings in athletes and their families that have limited to no exposure to track and field and works to build them up with quality training. Those athletes and families are groomed to become mentors to future entry level athletes and families.
Our core belief of focusing on the entire club is accomplished by competing for the Texas Amateur Athletics Foundation (TAAF) track meets for our Kindergarten through 8th grade athletes. For our 9th grade through 12th grade elite members, TATC participates (at their families desecration) in the USA Track and Field (USATF) Junior Olympics and (Amateur Athletic Union) AAU Junior Olympics with a directed training path.
All Athletes train together during the same times. This helps build the family relationship and it allows for the entry level athlete to learn and develop from watching and working along side the more seasoned track and field participants.
ASA Track does offer additional training outside of the club daily practices at an additional fee to include year round training through our dedicated vendors. All Athletes are expected to attend normal practice and additional training is exactly that -- additional training.
Practices will start April 26
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 6:30pm-8:00pm
