 To become a Fall 2011 Soccer coach there are several steps.

1) All (NEW and RETURNING) head coaches, assistant coaches, and managers must register online in sports pilot EACH season as an "unassigned coach" in sports pilot. ASA will move you onto your team once we have verified your background checks are completed.

2) New and Returning Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers to  Soccer must complete the North Texas State Soccer online background check.  This must be completed each Fall. Even if you coached Spring 2011you still need to complete

3)NTSSA is now requiring that we complete a risk management through Got Soccer, please go ahead and follow the instructions below. *New Coaches and coaches that sat out a season must register through ASA on left hand side of page first. as ASA has to create a username and password, the system will not allow you to log in and will not create a username for you without ASA permission, we will email you when password has been created).

1. Username will be provided for you              Password,
2. Now you will be logged into the system
3. Click the Contact Information tab and make sure all the information is updated---then click Save
4. click on the Background Checks tab
5. (comp)click Check Reports if you feel you have already done this, if no reports are found, click on Submit New Report
6. Answer the questions
7. Click Submit (or save)

4) Badges can be made AFTER team formation at the the ASA  office. You must have a badge in order to be on the sideline as coach. Each Fall everyone must get a new badge.

Soccer also requires New coaches to obtain there "G" Coaching Certificate within there first year of coaching for Ages U5-U8. U9 and above, the "F"  Clinic is recommended but not required. .

 The North Texas STate Soccer "G " Clinic (Geared for U5-U8) will be hosting a clinic in Allen:

 Next G Clinic will be held in February 20th 5:00pm-9:00pm  at Blue Sky  Indoor facility. LIMITED SPACE> YOU MUST PRE REGISTER on ASA website on the blue tab to the left that "Coaches Corner"

Free for ASA Soccer COaches,  $5 will be collected at the door for non ASA coaches to cover fee of course.

Bring Soccer Ball, Water, Pen and paper, it will be classroom work and field work.
