What is a Soccer release form?

* This is for Soccer only!

A Release Form is Required by North Texas Soccer. Since we are part of North Texas State Soccer Association, every child must play in the geographical boundaries set by their associaton and North Texas.

If you live in Allen, Lucas or Fairview and attend Allen ISD or Lovejoy ISD, you would need  a  release to play soccer for a neighboring soccer association that is a member of North Texas Soccer.


Wanting to Play Soccer in Allen but live somewhere other than Allen ISD or Lovejoy ISD;

You would need to get a release from local association in which you reside by the close  of Soccer Registration

 ASA Soccer Release Policy Rules:

2.2.7  Release Policy

Requests for releases will be considered and may be approved by the ASA Soccer board's Executive Committee using the following guidelines:

(1) You move into Allen Youth Soccer participation area from another assoiation and your child would like to remain on his/her previous team.

(2) You are moving to antoher association during the soccer season would like your child to get a head start on meeting other children in the new association. Verification of the pending location is required.

(3) We do not have a team to place your child on.

(4) Any other request which does not conform to the above may be reviewed by the ASA Soccer Executive Committee upon written notication of the ASA office (ATTN: ASA Soccer President), at least 10 days prior to decision date.

(5)Allen Youth Soccer has previously granted a release to your child for any of the above reasons.
