What grade levels of play does ASA Volleyball offer?
We offer Recreational play for 2nd grade through High School and Competitive level play for those in 4th, 5th or 6th grade.
Can both Boys and Girls register to play?
Yes. ASA Volleyball is Co-ed ball.
Can I bring my own team/ register an entire team to play?
Yes. See link at RIGHT titled “Team Formation” Subsection “Pre-Formed Teams” for details
How do I register my child to play?
Click link at LEFT titled “Registration” and follow the prompts.
How do I know which grade level/division to register my child for?
You should register him/her for the appropriate grade level they will be enrolling in for the fall school season. Proof of your child’s age will be required if this is your first time registering with ASA.
What do I do if my child wants to play Competitive Volleyball?
Currently we offer Competitive Level play for 4th, 5th and 6th grade only.

When are the Skills Evaluations for Competitive Level ball?
July 24th and 31st (Tentative, pending facilities confirmation)
Does my child have to attend an Evaluation if they are registering to play Recreational Level ball?
No. Those who are registering for the Recreational Divisions do not need prior play experience, Nor do they need to attend evaluations.
Does my child have to attend BOTH evaluations?
No. We offer two evaluation dates for the convienence of our families. Should a player attend and not clear the first evaluation, they have the option to attend the second evaluation for a re-take.
What if registration has closed and my child decides they wish to play?

Can my child request to play with their friend?
Yes. Note this preference during the registration process.
Placement on the requested team is not guaranteed.
What is included in the registration fee for my child?

How do I know what size jersey to order for my child?

What additional equipment will my child need to participate?
You will need to supply a Ball and kneepads. The game balls used for the fall season will be:
2nd through 6th grade: Tachikara Volley-Lite
MS through HS: Tachikara Gold
How does my child get placed with a team? How are teams formed?

What if the scheduled games/practices do not work with my family schedule?

How do I acquire uniform jerseys for my team?
ASA provides quality uniform jerseys every season to each player
Can my players choose their own jersey number?
No. Due to the amount of jerseys ordered each season we are unable to permit player specification beyond their appropriate sizing needs.
