Registration

How do I register?

All registrations are online. To register, go to www.allensports.org, select the sport for which you plan to register, click “Register Online,” follow the links to the appropriate division or league (please note, player eligibility is listed next to each league), complete the registration information, select your payment method, complete the registration by clicking on “Complete This Registration.”

A registration receipt will be e-mailed to the e-mail address you listed on the registration regardless of payment method. If you do not receive the e-mail confirmation, please check your junk mail or SPAM folder. Please make sure that allensports.org is listed as an approved sender if you use an e-mail filter.

Registration is not complete until payment has been received. Your registration date is the date that payment is received, and you must pay by the close of registration.

Any new player must submit a copy of their birth certificate to the ASA office before the end of registration.

I missed registration, can I still sign up?

Please check the individual sport’s webpage to check if there is a late registration period. During this time, registration will be opened up as space is available.

There is a late registration fee, and you may not be eligible to make any requests or to return to a previous team during late registration.

Do I need to do anything other than sign up online?

Some sports may have different requirements, like: tryouts, player evaluations, weigh-in’s, etc…. Please check your individual sport’s webpage for any special requirements.

ASA requires you to submit a birth certificate if you are a new player.

Do you provide financial aid?

Financial Aid is available to players who qualify. For more information, click here.

How will I know when to register next season?

ASA attempts to notify everyone by e-mail of registration dates for their programs. When possible, we also send flyers to schools in Allen ISD and Lovejoy ISD.

We also suggest checking the website on a regular basis.

Can I cancel my registration?

Registrations can be canceled prior to the close of regular registration and are subject to a $30 non-refundable administrative fee. No refunds are given after regular registration closes. To cancel your registration and get a refund, contact the ASA office.

Can my child play with a friend?

Some sports allow you to request placement with a friend. The rules can be specific to certain age groups.

Due to the number of factors that are taken into consideration when forming teams, there are no guarantees that any requests can or will be honored.

Can I pick my child’s team?

Some sports allow you to return to your previous team, but most do not allow you to pick your team.

Please check the individual rules regarding team formation for the sport you plan you play.

What does the registration fee cover?

Typically, registration fees cover your basic costs for fields, officials, administrative costs, insurance, and transaction costs.
