Jared Shelton - President
Jared Shelton, FACHE, serves as president of Texas Health Allen. He has primary oversight of daily operations and responsibility for the 88-bed hospital’s annual operating plan.
Shelton previously served as vice president of Professional & Support Services for Texas Health Dallas, where he oversaw clinical ancillary and support departments, including Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory Services, Respiratory Therapy, Food and Nutrition Services, Rehabilitation Therapies and Medical Physics.
He completed his undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business and a minor in religion. He also earned a master’s degree in health care administration from Trinity University.
Shelton is a past president for the North Texas chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is serving his second term on the Texas Hospital Association’s "Council on Policy Development". In serving the local Allen community, he is the immediate past chair of the board of directors for the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the Leadership Allen Fairview Class XXVIII as well as Allen ISD Leadership Academy Class II. He is also a member of the vestry at the Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.
Outside of work, Shelton and his wife, Kathryn, enjoy parenthood with their young children - daughters, Mackenzie and Caroline, and son, Jack.
Michelle Musick Jones
Michelle has coached cheer at ASA from 2007 – 2014 and served on the cheer board for one year. Both of her kiddos played with ASA in various sports for the past 11 years. Michelle is a realtor with Coldwell Banker and has been selling homes for over 28 years. She is an avid sports fan and was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader in 1988 – 1990. She also serves on the board for YMSL, Allen Chapter, as well as a member of National Charity League.
Cody is currently a junior at Allen High School and a member of the Chamber Orchestra. Shelbi is in 8th grade and is a cheerleader at Ereckson Middle School. Michelle and her husband James also have four spoiled dogs.

Todd Thompson - Turf Sport Director
Todd has served with ASA since 2006, first as a baseball League Director and more recently from 2012 to 2016 as ASA Baseball Commissioner. Todd is a graduate from Lake Highlands High School and Texas Tech University and currently works for Workday in sales. Prior to Workday, Todd was with Aon Hewitt as Sr. Finance Director for HR Services Outsourcing and had been involved with IT and HR Outsourcing for 29 years.
Todd and his wife Xan have two boys, Case who works in Dallas, and Dayton who is at University of Texas in Austin
Brant Wood - Member at Large
Brant has coached ASA boys and girls in basketball, soccer, football and baseball since 2002. Brant is the CEO of Café Brazil, a CPA and has been involved with restaurants in board, executive and ownership positions for over 20 years. In addition to his work with Café Brazil, he is also an active board member and advisor for NYPD Pizza in Phoenix, Arizona.
Brant and his wife Allison both received undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and MBAs from The University of Texas at Dallas. They have three children (Ashleigh, Connor and Austin) who have all played ASA Sports with Dad as their Head Coach.
Teresa Rodenbaugh - Member at Large
Teresa has been a member of the Board of Directors since April 2016. She works for St. Jude Catholic Church and handles adult Bible studies and the social media. She is married to Ronald and has lived in Allen and been active in various aspects of the community since 1979.
Troy Daugherty - Member at Large
Jannise Vinson - Member at Large
Jannise Vinson has spent over 30 years working for top 100 international law firms as a technical liaison, legal facilitator, public speaker and business systems analyst. She is now the Senior Systems Business Analyst at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she connects people to firm experiences. She assists in technical architecture and systems management for their suite of marketing and communication tools.
Jannise is a mentor to young women and loves to integrate STEM principles into how she mentors. Jannise has been a volunteer coach with the ASA since 2013. She has coached soccer, basketball, as well as two cheerleading squads (Kinder - 6th grade). Many of her sports families have gone on to play for various Allen middle school and AHS teams. She was a cheer director for 2 years, and most recently served as the ASA Volunteer Cheer Commissioner for the past 3 years.
Jannise has two daughters, Jessica and Jocelyn, who enjoyed several seasons of ASA sports, and like their mother are also involved in volunteerism, leadership and giving back to their community. Jannise and her husband Shannon remain active in various philanthropic and volunteer interests.
Desmond Bibbs - Member at Large
Desmond Bibbs transitioned his wife and two children to Texas a year ago. He soon began his role as Community Engagement Manager at the Credit Union of Texas. The Credit Union of Texas is deeply rooted in its community and has been a source of support since its inception in 1931. The foundation was laid by 13 educators who combined their vision and created the “Dallas Teachers Credit Union.” They began with a meager sum of $65, as of 2018 The Credit Union of Texas currently reports $1.4 Billion in revenue.
Desmond has served in the service industry for over ten years. He developed a remarkable ability for networking and connecting with others to effectively fulfill the goal and vision for his various roles. Desmond ventured into banking in 2004 as a Personal Banker. He exhibited positive leadership qualities and unique innovation that soon prompted his promotion to a management position. Desmond’s management and team building strategies has resulted in improved morale and notable increased outcomes.
Desmond loves spending quality time with family and friends and discovering unique ways to enjoy downtime with those he loves. He enjoys coaching his son and daughter’s basketball teams. Desmond was born and raised in Saginaw Michigan and he and his family have quickly adapted and come to love Texas living.
Jeff Holt - City of Allen Representative
Jeff has served on the ASA Board of Directors for one year. He is the Golf Services Manager at The Courses at Watters Creek and a member of the PGA of America. Jeff has officiated high school football for twenty two years and serves on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Football Officials Association. Jeff’s wife Linda is a teacher in the Richardson ISD.
JB Puckett - Lovejoy ISD Representative
Jim Bob has been the Athletic Director for Lovejoy ISD for 16 years (05-current) since the opening of the secondary program in 2005. Coach Puckett is entering his 40th year in education and coaching. He spent 3 years in Van Alstyne ISD (81-83), 18 years in the Allen ISD (83-01, McKinney ISD (01-05). Coach Puckett has won many Coaching awards over his career and has led Lovejoy to two UIL Lone Star Cup Awards (award for the top athletic program in the State of Texas). He spent a couple of Summers working for the City of Allen's Park and Recreation Department. and participated in the Allen Parks and Recreation Men’s Basketball and Softball Leagues.
Jim Bob's wife Sally is lead teacher for the JJAEP in McKinney. His oldest daughter Blaire is a 4th grade teacher for Lewisville ISD and his youngest daughter, Brooke, is a coach/teacher in Melissa ISD. Coach Puckett has been an Allen resident for over 25 years. His younger brother owns and operates Puckett’s Nursery in Allen.
Daniel Pitcock - Allen ISD Representative
Daniel Pitcock began serving as the Allen Independent School District as Chief Operations Officer in November 2014, overseeing Allen ISD’s support services including transportation operations, maintenance, building operations, construction services, safe and secure schools department, and technology operations. In July 2017, Daniel was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Operations. Community Services and Student Nutrition Departments were added to Operations in 2020.
A life-long educator, Daniel Pitcock has 25 years of experience in education, including 12 years as a school administrator in Allen ISD.
Daniel is a graduate of the University of North Texas and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. He also gained his Superintendent Certification in 2016.
Daniel is happily married to a school principal in Allen ISD and has three elementary school age children. He loves to be outdoors with his kids, riding bicycles and exercise.
