ASA Basketball offers three different seasons - Winter, Spring & Fall. The Winter season is the primary season and includes games and practice with registration. All three seasons are open to players of all skill levels.

The Spring & Fall seasons include games but only include 4 Sunday practices as part of registration. This is due to the limited facility availability during the spring and fall. There are not enough gyms to offer every team a regular weekly practice during these seasons, so limited practices are not offered. 

Advanced Leagues:

ASA basketball is excited to offer our Advanced League for 4^th Grade Boys through Middle School Boys.

• This is a team registration league only. There will be no individual registration.
• No minimum playtime rules and no roster size limit.
• 6 regular season games
• End of Season Single Elimination Playoff.
• Registration closes on February 20
• 8 teams MAXIMUM per league.

5th grade - Monday/*Saturday
4th grade - Tuesday/*Saturday

*Saturdays for these leagues are only on an as needed basis for bye games, rescheduled games, etc. Otherwise, the primary day for games is the weeknight listed.

Player/Team Registration Options

1. Individual registration – This option is open to every player that wants to play basketball with ASA.  If you are new to the league or want a change from a previous team, register as an individual in “draft” status and ASA will place you on a team that has an opening or create a team where you will be added.
2. Pre-formed Team – This option is for a returning team that would like to keep its team intact from a prior season.  The Head Coach will register themselves first and will be sent a team invitation code.  They will distribute that code to their players and they will be assigned to that coach’s roster once they register and pay individually. Teams with less than nine players on their roster could have players added to their roster.  Max roster size is 10.
3. Registered Team – This option is when a coach pays the predetermined team fee up front when registering the team. Once the coach has completed a criminal background check, they will be sent a team code that should be distributed to the players. The players must register with ASA at no fee, and be added to the team roster. The minimum number of players on a Registered team roster is seven and that locks their roster to where no additional players will be added. Teams with less than seven will have players added. Max roster size is 10. The Board reserves the right to move these teams up a league for competitive reasons.* Registered teams may only add players to a roster up to Week 2 of the season, regardless of roster size, or injury.
