Rule Changes
- 8U
- Base distance updated from 55 to 60 feet
- The ball is dead when the infielder has control of the ball in the infield (red turf) - this is a change from the prior language, which said control of the ball was in the base path.
- All age groups
- No player playing on multiple teams may play “Recreational” divisions of a lower age than their other team, even if otherwise eligible. For example, a 10U League Age player that also plays on a 12U team may not play down on a 10U recreational team.
- Game time starts at the conclusion of the home plate meeting (this is a change from prior, which said clock starts at the first warm up pitch)
