ASA Track offers off-season training during the spring and fall for athletes who want to stay active and build their skills year-round.
Spring Track Skills
Dates: March 23 – April 21
Location: Curtis Middle School
Time: 6:00–7:00 PM
Length: 5 weeks
Track Skills focuses on overall speed, form, and technique. This program is great for athletes who want to improve their running mechanics, agility, and general track performance.
New This Spring
Track Skills + Long Distance Option
This option is designed specifically for 800m, mile, and longer-distance runners.
What to expect:

Running at a pace of 8–12 minutes per mile

Goal of 2–4 miles per practice

Stretching and core work every session

Focus on building endurance and leg strength

Gradual training approach to help reduce injuries (like shin splints) before the competitive season

Once Track Skills begins on March 23, the Long Distance group will train at Curtis Middle School on Tuesdays with the Track Skills group.
