The Allen Sports Association is a non‐profit, volunteer‐based youth sports organization that was founded in 1976 by a group of Allen citizens. The sole purpose of the organization is to provide quality sports and recreation for the children who reside in the cities of Allen, Lucas and Fairview. We promote year‐round sports programs and provide the organization and leadership necessary to carry on such programs to the best interest and advantage of all participants.
As with most organizations, we had a tough few years due to the global pandemic. In Spring of 2020 when the pandemic shut down the world as we knew it, we were able to refund in full all ASA participants. While we remain a strong organization, the pandemic has had an impact on the organization that will be felt for some time to come. Events like the Play Fore Kids Golf Tournament will help us continue to recover and help us continue our Mission to be "The Place Where Kids Come to Play!"
We are currently looking for both sponsors and golfers for the 2023 Play Fore Kids Golf Tournament.
